I HAVE! ...returned.

So yeah. I'm back. You know you all missed me EVEN THOUGH NOT ONE OF YOU LEFT A LJ OR XANGA COMMENT YOU MEANIES and yeah. Okay so here's how it happened.

Left sunday morning at 4am for a plane to denver, then another plane to Puerto Vallarta. Got in, unpacked, and went shopping for food. They have a Wal-mart down there that i swear must be a city block big. It's like our walmart and super K smashed into one. I will say, the mexicans know how to make bread, though. They had a gigantic bread section, and all of it tasted sooo good. It was very yum. So then we got food and went home (aka hotel, Mayan Palace)

Monday...adults got roped into a timeshare spiel, and we were dragged along. Not too bad...we got free breakfast out of the deal, then just wandered off and read by the pool. The timeshare guy didn't care, obviously me and tony aren't gonna buy. So that killed more time, until about 5pm. We did something after that, but i have no idea what. I've forgotten...i'll update when i remember.

Tuesday we went on a boatride. Not too bad at all...i got to go scuba diving and they parked the boat at a really pretty coast. So i got lots of awesome pictures. We were gone almost 12 hours, from 9am to about 9pm. After that we were so beat we just collapsed.

Just to get up early again the next day! This time (wednesday) we went on a bus tour of much of the Puerto Vallarta area. Pretty cool, but i wasn't as interested because you can't take good pictures from inside a bus. It just doesn't work that way. I did get some good shots when we stopped for lunch at a restaurant that was set back in the forest. And i mean RAINforest. It was quite pretty, and the food wasn't bad. By the time we got home, we were ready to just stretch out and relax, so that ended that day.

Thursday we did lots of shopping, which took up all morning and afternoon. At night we went to see Mariachis (sp?) at a cuban club, which was pretty cool. It was La B del M...i forget what it stood for, all i can remember are the ten foot letters on the wall above the bar. Anyways, they let you write on the walls there, and actually encourage it. There's comments on the walls and ceiling from the early nineties...so me and tony left our mark too, of course ^^

We left the club at about 1130, which was a problem. Mexican taxis only hold four people, and there were five of us in mexico. The taxi-vans stop running at 9pm, and we didn't want to pay the extra $6 for a second cab. So, i ended up riding home in the trunk of a mexican taxi. Yeah, you heard me. Something to tell my children, i suppose.

Friday and saturday were just relaxing days...me and tony worked out, relaxed by the pool, and did random shopping. Sunday we checked out at 10am, had lunch, and were at the airport by noon for our flight at 2. Flew to denver, flew to chicago. Got home around midnight sunday night. Now i'm home! You know you missed me.

Today I finished unpacking, did laundry, and hung out with ali which was lots of fun. I got to take lots of pictures of me, and ali, and of me and ali. We had some ihop too, which wasn't very good but the good company more than made up for the food. I think that covers it for now. Laters!
